Spring is just around the corner, but it`s still freezing in London. So I thought I`d share some winter warmers I shot at the end of last year for the Daily Mirror, on Location at The Lodge on Loch Goil, Scotland.

Our journey started in London on an overnight sleeper train, after boarding and getting all the equipment into the little cosy cabins we had some dinner on board. Then, unfortunately, our train broke down after only traveling for 1,5 hours! Not the best start :(.. Eventually we got going again and I have to say, I was pretty shattered by the time we arrived 5 hours late.

The next morning I was pleasantly surprised to wake up and find the most stunning and idyllic location. The Lodge overlooked a beautiful lake and even had a tree house, which they hire out for special occasions. Even with the delays the day before and a little bad weather the team managed to photograph me in a number of lovely locations around the area which you can see below.

It`s always great when you get to travel for work to places where you haven`t been yet. Also it`s super handy when the results are so beautiful that you can include them in your portfolio :).
