Charlotte Tilbury products are one of the biggest brands of 2016; it can be a little on the pricey side but certainly lives up to its hype.

Pretty much every product Charlotte used on me I wanted! Not to mention I'm a big sucker for packaging and my god she's definitely mastered that one.

I have some hero products below that I have been buying repeatedly ever since the shoot and can't live without.

Wonderglow - Best primer or I use alone for a nice little tint and glow finish.

Bond girl lipstick -Warm plum matte finish lipstick. Can wear this during the day softly or build up for a more evening look.

Magic creme - Glowy illuminating moisturizer. Use on special occasions, generally use on top of wonder glow for the perfect skin prep before applying foundation. This is one of the higher priced items but a little goes a long way.

Mini miracle eye wand (shade 2) - This is ideal for highlights on top of your concealer and hiding those dark circles. One end of the wand contains a hydrating Eye Cream enriched with under-eye agents that make the skin feel firmer.

My beauty tips & Skin care essentials

If like me you love to hear about other girls skin care tips then read on ;)

These are the 4 main products I use on my skin which work wonders. Nothing too fancy just simple & paraben free.

1️. Bioderma sensibio H20 to cleanse & remove makeup .

️2. Alternate between Ren evercalm day cream & Weleda skin food depending how dry my skin is. (Perfect for this winter weather)

️3. SK-II facial Essence

4. Dermalogica Age Smart Multivitamin Mask

This is another favorite of mine that is perfect for these winter months and just to put that much needed moisture back into your skin as well as aiming to rescue stressed, aging skin with vitamin A, C, E and F. I use this once a week.

Another must have I can't live without..

5. Coconut oil - Coconut oil has become more and more popular both in and outside of the kitchen. Not only can you use this for your whole body and hair but your face too as a moisturizer, night recovery mask and not to mention, removing makeup without have to scrub your face with horrible face wipes. And to top it off preventing wrinkles and repairing/hydrating the skin.

Coconut oil melts on the skin as soon as you apply it, without leaving any kind of residues.

For those of you with oily skin do not totally rule this out. No matter how oily your skin is you also need to keep it hydrated to prevent any flaking.

Apply warm coconut oil liberally on the face and neck after washing face with your cleanser. Leave it on for 15 - 30 mins. Use a warm wet flannel to wash off and dry with a soft towel.

I use Nutiva organic Virgin coconut oil. Unrefined (unfiltered without any additives ) There is however debate over whether unrefined and refined oils are pretty much the same thing. So whatever you can get your hands on, just make sure it is organic..

DIY Face mask using coconut oil:

Not only do I use coconut oil alone as a moisturizer I also have used it for homemade face masks to hydrate my skin and just to give it a little boost. This combo I've found works best for me as my skin is always so dry!

Honey, Coconut Oil and Egg Moisture Mask:

Beat 1 egg in a bowl add in 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil and 1 tablespoon of honey, beat all the ingredients together to make a smooth paste.

Apply it onto your clean face and neck, leaving it on for 30 minutes - 1 hour and then wash it off.

This really helps to give your skin that quick fix. The honey and oil hydrates and the egg revitalizes.

We all know it's so important to take care of your skin, but let's be honest..we've all gone to sleep with a face full of make up at some point. So I just hope that this can serve a small reminder.

Before I sign off, I'd just like to say a big big thank you to the beautiful the 4 of us girls for having me and allowing me to share some of my tips and experiences!

I've honestly really enjoyed being a part of this months guest blogger and wish them all the success in 2017 <3

Happy New Year to you all,

Nicola xoxo
