THIS SEASONS MUST HAVE; THE TRENDY FIDDLER CAP
I'm (Annabell) someone who usually tries not to go with every trend ;) as first of all not everything might suit me, second - literally everyone wears it. So normally I like to go shopping while being on a trip in a foreign country, stroll over markets, and browse through vintage shops to find unique pieces hopefully no one else has.
But hey, with this seasons most unexpected trend, `Fiddler cap` or also well known as Fishermen hat - I could not resist and had to order some of those trendy caps to see if they actually suit me. I’m in general a big fan of lovely, colourful cashmere or wool beanies to add a bit of colour to some of my often simple black autumn/winter outfits. These slouchy caps are ideal to finish off a look with a dose of tomboyish charm. I went for an eye catching and super fresh red cap from Brixton . When I first stepped out of the house with the cap on I felt a little bit uncomfortable, as for me its quite a statement piece. After getting a compliment of Zsanett on the day followed by 3 more nice compliments, I didn't want to take it off anymore (Just kidding).
I wanted to wear something cosy and simple. I choose my new favourite black baggy jumper with my new skinny high waist jeans from Cheap Monday, which I had found on my last trip to Berlin. To keep warm I chucked over my beloved fishbone coat from last seasons found at Mango and added some red lipstick to finish off the look. I did not only buy the red cap I also found a lovely simple black cord fiddler cap from the same brand, which you find in the pictures below.
