UNIQLO CAPTAIN AMERICA VS. ADIDAS INIKI TRAINERS
Recently I had friends visiting from Germany which have 3 young boys and those are totally addicted to Marvel characters as well as are big fans of Nintendo. Who isn’t? ;)
So my friends wanted to check out Uniqlo and the kids T-shirts ;) I've always been a fan of Uniqlo and already got some basic bits from them as well as the super handy and thin down jackets. However I had no clue that Uniqlo had a big contest recently where lots of artist and amateurs submitted their Nintendo designs to get the chance to have them printed on T-shirts.
Here is a bit more info about the NINTENDO competition:
"Professional artists and amateurs alike used T-shirts as their canvas in the worldwide UTGP design contest. This year's theme: Nintendo! Mario creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, and the Nintendo special judges team selected designs from a record number of 16,000 submissions." text by www.uniqlo.com
This was clearly a massive success and my friends wanted to stock up on some gifts for their kids as well as get some t-shirts for them self. I ended up trying on kids T-shirts for fun to see if maybe the biggest size fits me...haha so I ended up buying the Camptain America T-shirt for the age 10-12 so I can be twinning now with the oldest son of my friends. ;) Sadly the ‘Marvel’ t-shirt was sold out in my ‘kids size’ :( anyway I found a few other print T-shirts which I’ve been already wearing lots combined with a jeans and sneakers.
In this post you see me wearing the super soft and I think extremely cool ‘Captain America’ T-shirt, paired with some loose and comfy dark blue trousers from Zara and my newly purchased and very comfy Adidas INIKI trainers.
If you are also a fan of print T-shirts then why don't you have a look at Uniqlo’s website or even walk into one of their many shops and try some on ;) I’m pretty sure you will find at least one lovely T-shirt. :)
