I am a massive fan of knits and my cupboards are filled up with chunky jumpers like these. My love for knits is mainly because I think they look great, but also because I'm always cold and these types of jumpers help me stay nice and warm. :)

Yes, it is important to me that the clothes I wear look good, but comfort is just as important. It has happened a couple of times that I have bought a piece of clothing or a pair of shoes that I think look fantastic, but which has sadly been super uncomfortable to wear and I have just ended up not wearing it at all. Now that is just a big waste of money and cupboard space!!

Wearing big knits over a pair of blue jeans is usually quite a casual look. This time however, I tried to dress it up a bit more adding some large statement earrings and wearing high heel boots. I also added some minimalistic jewellery to go with the outfit as I wanted to keep my other accessory simple. This outfit is the perfect ‘all day outfit’. With this I mean that you can wear it all day at work with some nice flats, then dress it up in the evening with some statement earrings and heels if you won’t have time to go home between work and your evening event.

SOLVEIG - THE RED JUMPER

So back to the red knit I'm wearing in these shots. You can’t actually buy this jumper in the shops only the pattern for it. The jumper was designed by the Norwegian super model Hanneli Mustaparta as part of a collection of jumpers created in collaboration with the yarn brand, Sandnes Garn. This red jumper that I am wearing here is called Solveig and has been knitted by a woman back in my hometown. This whole collection from Mustaparta is absolutely stunning and I would love to own every single item. :P Sadly I am not a very good knitter, but I am doing my best to improve my knitting skills! I am currently working on a beanie (you got to start somewhere…) and it is looking pretty good so far actually J Will of course share a photo of it once it’s done. Next, I would like to try to knit a jumper, but a much simpler one than this one here. Pretty sure this Solveig jumpers are only for pros! Looks pretty complicated at least :P

The campaign pictures for this collection are all stunning, and have been shot in New York.

REVAMP YOUR JEANS

About a year ago I got my self a pair of mum jeans from Noisy May that quickly became a favourite. They are so much more comfy than skinny jeans and are right on trend these days. But after more or less living in them for the past year, I figured it was time for a change. It doesn't take much to transform your jeans into something new. I decided to cut mine into a 3/4 length, but kept the back of the legs slightly longer than the front.

What do you think about the result? Was it a good idea to cut them, or should I have kept the fold? :)

The result!

The result!

Half way there! :)
