1. QUALITY AND CRAFTMANSHIP

As you might have noticed by now, us girls at THE4 OF US looooove jewellery. Annabell have had many occasions where she has attended workshops to make her own, whilst Zsanett and Sara have been ones to shop their hearts out when it comes to accessories. We of course love a good high street pick as a quick fix, but what we really appreciate is a piece that is well made and will be in our lives for good. As much as it is easy and wallet friendlier to purchase jewellery and accessories from the high street, they will sadly be short lived affairs. As they often annoyingly will start staining your skin and lose their colour only after a few times of wearing them.

Lowndes London  is not only a fine example of well made jewellery, they are also London based and there is nothing we love more than collaborating with a brand that's local. To discover a brand that values understated quality is something we live for. Seeing all their beautiful hidden details and uncompromising craftsmanship in all their pieces gives us life. So well presented, such delicacy, we couldn't be happier with all our new pieces from them.

2. WHAT IT REPRESENTS - STRONG WOMEN

The inspiration behind the Salisbury collection:

"Emily brought a fresh and eccentric Irish charm to England when she became the Marchioness of Salisbury. She soon realised sober society was not her thing - but hunting, gambling and decadent parties at her London house definitely were. Despite her slight build she had endless energy and was a fearless horsewoman. On horseback she was easily a match for any man; a modern women way ahead of her time. Though kind and generous, Emily had a wild side and loved playing with fire. A little notoriety, she felt was much more fun. Emily Cecil, 1st Marchioness of Salisbury, 1750-1835"

We love the fact that each collection has a story of its own. All those individual stories represent wonderfully strong and curious women that we all aspire to be. Also very interesting how Emily's personality is so similar to Zsanett's..:) No wonder why she was so drawn to this gorgeous rose gold plated collar. Which is also available in plated silver. It not only looks and feels lovely, there are also hunting dogs and foxes engraved in the inside of it, so much attention to details!

3. THE PACKAGING

What amongst everything mentioned we adore most. Beautiful packaging. The boxes, the little pouches that come with it so you can store your jewellery safe. How minimalistic and luxurious it made us feel. All we can say is BRAVO Lowndes London. Bravo.
